Neighborhood Evangelism: Community Clean Up

Rather than have neighborhood door-to-door evangelism, we will have a team participating in the “Great Savannah Community Cleanup” in Thomas Square.
CCA members can meet at The Whitefield Center and walk over together to Thomas Square at 10 a.m. for our 2024 Great Savannah Community Cleanup event. Featuring free bagels, pastries and coffee for volunteers. Along with the City of Savannah, we will provide you with everything you need to beautify our neighborhood and clean up litter, including: hand sanitizer, gloves, bags, trash-pickers, and more.
Starting at 10 a.m. and covering Anderson Street to Victory Street, and MLK Street to Broad Street. The groups will arrive back to Thomas Square with the litter collection between 11:30-12 p.m.
Immediately after the cleanup from noon to 3 p.m. visit the 2024 Thomas Square Neighbor Market in Thomas Square Park.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments while meeting Savannah small businesses and makers, community resources, along with the opportunity to shop local and WIN some amazing prizes!
