Good Friday Evening Service

The second day of the Triduum is the most somber of all days. Good Friday reminds us of the agony and suffering of Jesus and the brutality of his death on the cross for our sins. Christ took all sin upon himself, in obedience to his Father’s will.
Collect for Good Friday
Almighty God, we beseech you graciously to behold this your family, for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed and given into the hands of sinners, and to suffer death upon the Cross; who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
