COVID -19 2020-04-02T13:16:54-04:00

This page has been developed as a “one stop spot” for all parish resources developed during COVID-19.  Please check back often.

As it has become clear that we will not be able to contain the COVID-19 virus in the U.S., it is incumbent upon us that we mitigate its effects by staying away from gatherings where we might expose ourselves to the virus, or if we are unknowing carriers, to expose others. While this action may seem dramatic, it is clear to us that such a decision is the best expression of loving our neighbor. This decision is an act of pastoral protection as well as an extension of grace and care to those most vulnerable to the virus. It is also a witness to our friends and neighbors that we wish to be a parish “for the neighborhood” as we seek the welfare of the city (Jeremiah 29:7).

While Christ Church Anglican has canceled all public gatherings, including in person worship services,  we are committed to worshiping with the aid of online technology.

We are now worshiping online Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Recordings of the service are posted Sunday afternoon. For detailed instructions on how to sign up for our weekly parish emails and to receive a link to the service, please see the Resource- Staying In Touch or scroll to the footer on this page and sign up.

Our morning daily devotionals are written by The Rev. Marc Robertson, Rector of Christ Church Anglican. The Rev. Joe Gasbarre, Catechist of Christ Church Anglican authors the evening daily devotional.
