Bryan was born and raised in Chicagoland. He graduated from Wheaton College (Illinois) with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in theology. Bryan also earned a Master of Divinity with a certificate in Anglican Studies from Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. Fr. Bryan is an oblate of the Order of St. Benedict, St, John’s Abbey in Collegeville , MN.

After his ordination in 2015, Bryan served as Curate at St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral in Tallahassee, Florida, Associate Rector at Christ Church Cathedral in Plano, Texas, and Interim Priest at Redemption Anglican Church in Frisco, Texas.

Bryan and his wife, Laura McClain-Biba, enjoy cooking good food, reading old books, biking, and spending time with their son, Simeon, and two daughters, Adelaide and Miryam. Ask Bryan about college basketball, bread baking, and Star Trek.
