Calvin moved to the low country looking for spiritual renewal and found it through the clear gospel proclamation at Christ Church Anglican. He was raised in a godly home in Akron, Ohio and came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior as a teenager.

As the assistant for youth ministry at Christ Church Anglican, he enjoys serving up a healthy dose of fun, thoughtful conversation and helps to facilitate the behind the scenes operations that make discipleship possible.

He is newly wed to his beloved wife, Alexia Lemaigre Detwiler. Together they enjoy spending their time cultivating friendships, raising chickens and catching sunshine at Tybee Island.
