Women of CCA Gathering
October 17 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
It seems as though everyone is ready for some ‘togetherness’ after these recent months of distancing. For those of you who are ready, willing, and able to be around others, we will be having an outdoor women’s gathering at the Whitefield Center on the morning of Saturday, October 17th at 9:30am. For your safety, we will gather in the outdoor space where we will be able to keep appropriate distance, and you can also wear masks. You will need to bring your own lawn chair and mask, your Bible and a notebook. Bottled water and some pre-wrapped snacks will be provided.
As you know, CCA member Abbie Sprunger has recently had a beautiful children’s book published, entitled “What is Beautiful?” Abbie will be sharing thoughts with us based on the book title, and also about her own personal journey that brought it to fruition. In our current climate, it is so important for us to have a Godly grasp on beauty, and to be able to bring a healthy view of it to our children while they are young. What a gift! We are asking Abbie to bring some books; in case anyone wants to get a jump on some early Christmas shopping, or knows of a family who would love to add this valuable piece to their read aloud collection.
Our own Katie Kavannah will lead us in worship too. We will give you plenty of time to mingle and catch up with one another. Feel free to invite anyone who might enjoy this little event.
