Evensong

Date Change due to Holy Week.  Evensong will be offered on the second Friday in April.

On the first Friday of each month we hold an Evensong service. In the Anglican Church, Evensong (short for “evening song”) is a beautiful, traditional service of sung prayers, scripture readings, and music. This service provides a contemplative end to the day focused on psalms, songs, and is rooted in the Book of Common prayer. Our musical offering is guitar based and led by CCA musicians Craig and Meg Spinks. Join us on April 10 as we celebrate the life of James Lloyd Breck.

James Lloyd Breck (1818-1876) was an Episcopal priest, educator, and missionary known as the “Apostle of the Wilderness” for his pioneering work in establishing churches, schools, and seminaries in the American frontier, particularly in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and California.
