What to Expect

We gather as a congregation every Sunday to worship our Lord and Father and to be shaped and guided through the reading of scripture, prayer, teaching, and singing. During the week we have additional opportunities for worshipping, teaching, and service to the church and our community. You’re welcome to come join us!

When are your services?

Two Holy Eucharist services Sunday morning at 8 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.. Sung Compline service Sunday evening at 8 p.m.

Where do I park?

Limiting parking is available at our on-site lot including reserved spaces for expecting mothers and seniors. Additional parking available at the Whitefield Center and Bull Street Library lot. Street parking is also available throughout the city.

Is childcare available?

Nursery care is provided on Sunday’s beginning at 9 a.m. for children 3 and under, downstairs in the Wesley Wing.

Children of all ages are welcome to stay in the service. Children’s activity bags and books for use during the service are available at the 37th street entrance. Please leave the activity bags and books in the pew or return to the Narthex. Little Church for children ages 4-11 takes place during the 10:30 a.m. service.

What should I wear?

Please wear whatever makes you comfortable. While some attendees wear “Sunday Best,” there are an equal number who opt for more casual attire.

Do you hold Sunday School classes?

Nursery care and children’s Sunday school ages 0-14 available weekly from 9 a.m.—10:15 a.m.

Can I take communion if I am not Anglican?

All baptized Christians seeking to follow Christ are welcome for communion.

Is there a time to connect with people?

We offer refreshments and fellowship following there 8 and 10:30am services in Hebron Hall. Visitors are invited to meet staff in the parlor after the 10:30am services.

Do you have accommodations for those with special needs?

Those with physical disabilities may use our ramps and parking spaces to access both the main church building and The Whitefield Center. We also have designated spaces for seniors and expectant mothers. Hearing devices are available Sunday mornings. Ushers, who wear green sashes, are happy to help you with any particular needs you may have. For additional assistance, please call the parish office 912-355-7730.
