Worship is the heart of Christ Church Anglican, and is the high point of our parish every week. Christ Church Anglican held worship services for the first time at our new location (2020 Bull Street at the corner of Bull and 37th Streets) on Sunday, February 1, 2015.
Our worship is rich and varied, as reflected in the following schedule:
All services are held in the Nave of the Church.
8 a.m. This service is traditional in nature and includes hymns with organ and homily. It is a wonderful service of quiet solemnity, couched in ancient liturgy. The Eucharist is normally celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at this service. On other Sundays we Morning Prayer.
10:30 a.m. Eucharist (which in the Greek means thanksgiving and is another word for communion or The Lord’s Supper) is a blended service of both traditional and contemporary components. This service is a powerful expression of love and praise to our Creator. Historic liturgy, grand music, and biblically-focused preaching are the hallmarks of this service.
9 p.m. Compline (Saying Goodnight to God) - please click here for information about Compline.
